“I knew I wanted the values of my company to represent qualities that I value in myself and others: genuine, loyal, dependable, driven, skilled….etc. It took quite a while for me to decide but I eventually thought of my best friend, Gatsby. Gatsby represented the best in all these qualities, and we hiked nearly every day and mountain biked often. I figured being a best friend and sidekick while navigating the technical trails of business and finance was a good metaphor for what I wanted to be for my clients.

Gatsby was an amazing trail dog and is a core inspiration for the Trail Dogs mission and brand. He is dearly missed.”
